"At the theatre, the crowds were already thick at the side-entrances. In front a continuous stream of hansoms and four-wheelers were rattling up, discharging their cargoes of shirt-fronted men and beshawled and bediamonded women..."
Based on a roleplaying conversation with my dearest friend, Christy, and I did together, her character, Golden Brown is an elite courtesan, beautiful and enchanting, a woman in which men died for and killed for. She was escorted to the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden with one of her many "clients." Her delicate brown curls perched high upon a glittery tiara, a vast of shimmering diamonds upon slenderness of her throat, and a resplendent ivory gown that seemed to skate upon the marble floors. At her seat upon the balcony, she spotted below a most familiar face of man she had possessed a long attraction and a deep esteem for. She knew him as Inspector Vole, of Scotland Yard.
At the intermission, she descended from the balcony and tapped him upon the shoulder; as he turned, Vole, who looked dashing in his evening attire, smiled and recognised her. This is an image of the scene where Golden Brown encountered Inspector Vole after the performance. Yet the relationship between she and he has evolved greatly over the two years since this particular conversation, always close and yet also always at a distance, but never without chemistry.
In the formation of Golden as a character whom many may know from her relationship with :iconAmber Palette:'s character Colonal Doran. She has changed drastically since this particular RP.
Still, it does bring back fond memories, and the dynamics between Vole and Golden are quite special. Very much like Steed and Emma Peel in the Avengers.
woo hoo yes, speakinno me (I'm AmberPalette lol pheeeeer me XD *snortgiggle* jus' kiddin') I remember drawing Golden over and over for Christy and my RP's after Golden and Gregory became more distant, and I never cease to find Golden a delightful character to draw. Yes, sometimes these RP's seem WAY more real than animated mice, but that is what makes it beautiful.
LOVE her eyes and hair. I always enjoy drawing those features best on Golden XD
And you haven't visited my gallery yet, Diane, you naughty woman You know I'm here, lol!
I named Lestrade the name Gregory for over five years, you know, G. Lestrade, Gregory because it's a very formal and Victorian name. And that transferred that to Vole, just I never call him by this forname, I just call him Vole. I didn't know you have a Gregory, damn...what am I going to do now? **pouts in her misery, shrinks into an ant and says it like Duckie when he went through an alarmed back door** Are you mad? Oh, please don't me. I sincerely didn't mean to offend.
If you are not, please read further message to change subject....
Well, for Golden, I went by Christy's drawings of her. Well, the older drawings when Golden was still forming out, but they are so beautiful. Golden such a great character, I root for her always. I kinda made her hair a little too long, but you can say it's BEFORE a trim from the hairdresser. As for the eyes, I stared at Christy's drawings and Golden reminds me of a tempress, like a siren of ancient Greece, so added very heavy temptress eyes - angular but round with tear-shape tragedy. Something like dark pools which men stare and get lost in its solitary beauty of them. Eye that men remember and it drills in them in the middle of sleepless nights. As for her "endowments," well, Golden was suppose to be endowed, Christy drew her endowed, but I got a little cared away and drew here a little more endowed than she should have been. But it completely possible in shape and form, lots of men that I know seem for forget the word GRAVITY! But the corsets job, like the brassaire of today, lift, perk, and fill. So don't hit me! They're just SLIGHTLY bigger than my Irene Relda's. Okay, that's enough there. But my favourite feature is her smile. I see Golden's smile as cryptic, seductive, leisurely, and curveous. A high top and low bottom with a gentle smirk of playfulness and seriousness. Something very kissable and pleasing on the eyes.
As you know, this was ALL BEFORE your Doran came out, teeheehee. And YES, I have searching through your gallery many, many, many times, years before I signed up for one myself. And really, am I really that naughty?
