Titus: Intergalactic Slave Girl by tranimation-art Titus: Intergalactic Slave Girl by tranimation-art
"Of course, creatures such as these come at a price of their own. In my experience, women are the same throughout the galaxy..."

The green-skinned Orions were once a proud civilisation that collapsed over a millennia ago. Their homeworld had been lost to time and memory, and they currently occupy the planet Rigel IV the central hub for the Orion Syndicate, an interstellar criminal cabal whose principal activities include smuggling, piracy, assassination, and slavery. In the Syndicate, the animalistic Orion slave girls are very popular "commodities" of their black-markets. Notorious for their "extreme appetites" and their "innate skills," females emit a powerful pheromones which few men can resist. While most species would recoil at the aspect of being slaves, Orions are perfectly happy to serve in that position. They are trained in the arts of service and sex, and take great pride in their work, deriving their own pleasure from pleasing others. "Freedom" is a distinctively alien concept.

Born in a harem of the Houses of Agaukasland on Rigel X, Kitaah (portrayed by Kitty) and her twin sisters, Amyaa and Mayaa, were bred for beauty and passion, and born into servitude where they were legally collared as fully commercial merchandise. From birth, as tradition demands it, Kitaah underwent training in dance and music, conversation, etiquette, ceremony, and the extensive art of pleasuring. Yet, upon puberty, she was diagnosed with a hyperactive pherone disorder where the secreted pheromones are tripled in potency. This medical condition is genetic and exceptionally rare, and is regarded as a valued collectible in the slave-markets. But limited preparation and lack of experience deferred her worth, and Agaukasland was of modest means; they simply did not have the expenses to train her. A slaver named Kamad Shastram-Gor, the finest purveyor of the pleasure slaves in quadrant, showed interest in Kitaah and purchased her at a small discount. He administered her in a rigorous five-year apprenticeship under his personal supervision to perfect her role as an artisan, temptress, and companion to be judged as a living, breathing, moving work of art. The pursuit of pleasure is one of life's highest callings. Wealth, power, and sex are equal and inseparable. The erotic is celebrated as the seat of earthly beauty; it is the path of deliverance and liberation. And Kitaah adopted her lessons with vitality and zeal! Shastram-Gor would praise her as one of his greatest students. He relished in her wilful, mischievous nature, and was captivated by beauty and charm, and surrendered to her voracious appetites and sensuous love-making. Unfortunately, he had fallen passionately in love with her a powerful man caring for a mere slave frequently fears becoming weak and, soon, her apprenticeship was completed.

Finally, her formal mamsavikraya was arranged where she was finally "opened for the uses of men." She and Shastram-Gor travelled to the Borderland, a lawless, volatile region of space between the Klingon Empire and the Orion Syndicate, outside Federation control. To incite potential buyers, Kitaah staged a song-and-dance performance before the processing station at the marketplace of Verex III, without the permission of Kamad Shastram-Gor, however her strategy worked. Men of all races and reputations hoarded into the auction and was sold to a Ferengi weapons merchant and mercenary named Fraal, along with her sisters Amyaa and Mayaa, seven times her original price. Kitaah, effortlessly, became Fraal's favourite mistress. However, the life of a weapons dealer, she found, was surprisingly mundane and, although he did have wealth and influence, she found Fraal to be a sniveling coward. She began to yearn for an adventurous existence. When Fraal came to visit at Starbase 60 in a manner of business, she became fascinated by hustle and bustle of the space-station and became unreservedly infatuated with its commanding officer, a Vulcan who was a paradox of peacemonger and warmonger, logician and tactician his name was Admiral Salok. Yet even he is not (completely) immune to her wiles, much to his dismay.

This looks to me like it might be the green skinned (furred) slave woman equivalent of Lt. M'Ress, from the Star Trek Animated series. E.g. fav.me/d1u7q0

Wait, does this mean the green women at the begging of the Star Trek movie was an Orion girl?

You mean the beginning of the STAR TREK reboot (which I despise so much)? Yes, she is an Orion.

I see what you mean, the Original STAR TREK wasn't as 'flashy' as the reboot. I remember in the special features of the film where J.J. Abrams said that he was giving what the original STAR TREK didn't have, but I understand if people don't like him messing around with the good old stuff.

That's not why I hate his STAR TREK. I get that you want to redesign the physical aspects; people typically do this with reboots all the time, so I get that. However, he doesn't understand the essence of STAR TREK whatsoever. While Kirk has his selfishness and ego, he always tries to do the correct thing in the end and goes the extra mile to make sure it's done; he respects people and their abilities. Reboot Kirk does none of that; he insults people, he misuses people, and completely immature. Reboot Uhura is one of the translators in Starfleet and she can't even be allowed to do that correctly. Reboot Spock is completely self-absorbed; yes, he is may be cold but he is always compassionate. Reboot Spock was none of that.

But what the reboots boil down to is having horrible, horrible stories! It's just images flying at you with no substance. J.J. Abrams treated STAR TREK as STAR WARS and they are not the same thing! STAR TREK, in its essence, is a morality plays. They use it to talk about political and social issues -- from war, racism, sexism, genocide, psychology, sexuality, etc. Trekkies don't like the reboot. I don't know any real Trekkie who does.

If you want to STAR TREK and its excellence, I can show you great STAR TREK stories! The reboot will not apply!

First I'm going to start "The episodes that epitomizes the series that are easy to understand by non-fans!" Equal signs on the best episode to start with with that particular series.

THE ORIGINAL SERIES:
= "Balance of Terror" - War, PTSD, and racism!
- "The City on the Edge of Forever" - Because TIME TRAVEL IS AWESOME!
- "Let That Be Your Last Battlefield" - Racism.
- "The Trouble with Tribbles" - Something fun, also an allegory to invasive species.

THE NEXT GENERATION:
= "Darmok" - Cultural misunderstandings.
- "The Offspring" - Philosophy.
- "Sarek" - Alzheimer's.
- "The Inner Light" - Just...life!
- "Tapestry" - Life, with a little TIME TRAVEEEL!

DEEP SPACE NINE (AND THE GREATEST TREK SERIES EVER!):
= "Duet" - Genocide.
- "The Visitor" - Family.
- "The Wire" - Drugs! Requires more knowledge of who Garak is, but I think it's a good way to introduce him.
- "In the Pale Moonlight" - Morality vs. War. My favourite TREK episode ever!
- "The Siege of AR-558" - WAAAARRRRRR IS BAD!
- "Far Behind the Stars" - Racism.
- "Little Green Men" - Something fun; because TIME TRAVEL IS AWESOME!
- "Troubles and Tribble-ations" - Something fun; sequel to "The Trouble with Tribbles"!

ENTERPRISE:
= "Carbon Creek" - Something fun; because Vulcans on Earth are adorable!

My word, you've outdone yourself!

The picture itself is impressive enough--you've done an excellent job of marrying Ms. Kitty Mouse's distinctive figure and smile with the exotic allure of a sci-fi slave-girl's scant attire. The soft green fur is a nice touch, further accentuating the extraterrestrial elements of her outfit and the azure color of her eyes. And, of course, there's her posture--from the way she idly plays with her chain to the distinctive arch of her hips, Kitty's posture accentuates her curvaceous figure perfectly.

And then, of course, there's the description you included with the picture--such details are the marks of a true masterpiece in my opinion; they show that a picture has a story behind it. In this case, that story is very intricate and well-detailed...and for a fanfic writer like me, that counts for quite a bit. :)

The bottom line? Kudos, my friend. I fave this and comment upon it without an ounce of hesitation. It's well worth both.

Thank you! I really appreciate this! I'm so glad you enjoyed this. It really means a lot!

The artwork itself was actually REALLY hard to do because it's always far more difficult to draw in someone else's style than your own. Kitty has a dancer's body -- powerful legs and large hips with a smaller upper body. I went through about three different versions of this piece because I kept with this. Unfortunately, there's so precious little we know about Orion culture, so I did a lot of research to see merged the knowledge together into this. It seems that Orion design is very Arabian, but for the culture for the slaves, I used more Japanese with geishas. Geishas are created as living and breathing works of art. They aren't demure or shy. They're actually very independent, strong-minded, highly educated, intelligent people who can discuss art, history, business, politics, etc. Orion slave girls are more than just sexual objects, they are meant to be ultimate "companions" -- they're artisans. Orions are more than what meets the eye, I feel.

It's awesome, the funny thing is, if you've watched ST: Enterprise it delves into their culture a little more. The females are actually the dominants in the species! They're the ones that make the rules, they just make it look like their the slaves! lol Ya, I know, like wow!!

I love that episode. It was a fun episode, although I wanted to know more. I wanted to know exactly what the "rules" were between males and females. It appears the male is the dominant; they're taller, larger, stronger, wealthier, balder, have weird piercing, etc. The female is shorter, weaker, hairier, and don't seen to have piercings at all.

Each male seems to have a harem, but can a female have a "harem"? Is there a rank system in a harem? And if so, how are leaders chosen? Are leaders chosen through a democracy by the females? Or whoever is favoured most by the male owner? Or is it by age and/or by most experience and education? Are their MALE slaves? What do they do? Is there homosexuality among Orions? How is that looked upon? In tBhe episode "Borderland", an Orion male mentions a "wife", what's the exact difference between a "harem slave" and a "wife"? Are wifes considered "slaves" or "free women"? How exactly can a slave become "free"? Can they be "freed"? What does a "freed" slave do? Why haven't we seen the elderly? Do the elderly exist in their society? Can you "retire" from being a slave when you get to a certain age? What is the average lifespan for an Orion? Why are Orion males blue in the animated series, yet green in Enterprise? Is there a size limit to harems? How are males and females raised differently as children? Certain slave women know how to dance, does that mean they are educated? How do you "educate" a slave and why? Why are slaves never chained? Are they chained at all? Is treatment of slaves very important? How do you keep track of who owns who? What about STDs? Accordingly, the Federation has a low opinion on slavery, but why hasn't the Federation done anything about them? Do they care to? If Starfleet doesn't like slavery, why trade with them? Isn't that hypocrisy? It's apparent that Pike slept with a Orion female, does that mean he's condoning slavery? Same with Kirk? Are Orions allowed to join Starfleet? If they can, do they have to swear a "Celibacy Oath" like Deltans do? Starfleet says they don't like to FORCE their morality towards others, but isn't a "Celibacy Oath" considered just that? Yak, yak, yak...etc, etc...

Star Trek has yet answered this questions, so took it upon myself to fill in the holes as logically as possible without breaking Canon. And I hope I succeed.

No, they never appeared in VOY or DS9 (they didn't show them at all in TNG either), but we discover a bit about the mysterious and deadly Orion Syndicate....but we don't see any Orions. We see all these other aliens, but no actual Orions. I felt jipped!

Also, Quark mentions "Orion Free Traders", so obviously nothing is FREE when it comes to Quark, but it's not clear if it means FREE from slave trade, or FREE from the Syndicate, or both.

However, I love the entire bit that the Syndicate was in cahoots with the Dominion. Since Titus deals primarily on Dominion War and its influences, the Orions definitely make an appearance, as well the Gorn and Tholians...and maybe the Kzinti. Meow!
